About Us
About Jeevan Jyothi Charitable Trust
A public charitable Trust based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, serving children, women and rural communities through education, skill training, healthcare and community development.
Who We Are
Jeevan Jyothi Charitable Trust is a public charitable organisation based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. The Trust was established for charitable purposes and works for the welfare and development of children, women, students and rural communities, without distinction of background. Its approach is simple and practical: to be present in the communities it serves, to respond to real needs as they are expressed locally, and to accompany people over time rather than through one-off assistance.
Its principal service areas are education, women empowerment and skill development, healthcare, child and student support, and community and rural development. Activities are carried out in and around Ranchi through institutions and community programmes maintained by the Trust, including the Trust's English Medium School, the EYES Centre for skill and livelihood training, Adele Bhawan Hostel for students, the Chaminade Healthcare Centre, and sustainable agriculture activity. Together these give children a place to learn, women a way to earn, students a safe home while they study, and villages closer access to basic health care.
The Trust maintains statutory registrations required for its work, including PAN and FCRA registration, and publishes approved statutory and financial documents for public access. Accounts are audited and the resulting statements, along with FCRA returns and annual reports, are made available on the FCRA & Financials page of this website. Only documents approved by the organisation are published, and no figures or claims are presented here that are not supported by those documents.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to promote human dignity and community development through education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities and support to vulnerable communities. The Trust seeks to reach those who are least able to access such services, to work with families and villages rather than for them, and to carry out every activity with transparency, accountability and respect for the people it serves.
Our Objectives
- Promote education and human development
- Support women and young people through skill development
- Provide healthcare and community support
- Assist children and economically disadvantaged families
- Promote rural and socio-economic development
